Subject: Remember the Times
This never was one of my favorites because of all the singing. However, I see the movie as an effort to depict the foolish actions of a few European despots who would, on one hand, inter-marry to ensure good international relations and, on the other hand, plot the demise of their new in-laws.
Europe was on the verge of war because of these despots, and this movie was trying to show them the error of their ways.

...for taking the time to upload this beautifully restored and complete video of (Max and Dave) Fleischer Studios' classic, encoded in a high quality format (DiVX, not Cinepack as indicated on the file label). This is much better than the one at http://www.archive.org/details/gullivers_travels1939
